Why is my wick curling?
Our wicks are made from natural cotton wicks. As a result it may naturally curl from time to time. You can minimise this by trimming your wicks to 5mm before every burn. Candle maintenance tools such as wick dippers, can be used to straighten unlit wicks.
Why is my candle not burning evenly?
Ensure you burn your candle for a minimum of 1 hour or until surface is molten - completely liquid, edge to edge of the candle vessel, especially at the first burn. Burn for a maximum of 4 hours each time. Keep your candles on an even surfaces with all wicks simultaneously lit.
Tunnelling can be caused by a candle's surface not being entirely liquid before it is extinguished.
Do your candles have a good scent throw?
Yes – both hot and cold. If left without the lid on, the cold scent throw is noticeable. Upon burning, the hot scent throw fills a medium sized room quickly.
What’s the composition of your wax?
100% vegetable - Non GMO coconut and rapeseed wax blend.

Please contact us with photos of the damage as soon as you receive your item.
What size are your vessels?
Our standard size is 10 wide x 10 tall cm with a capacity of 350grams which equates to a burn time of around 50 hours.
Why does my candle have a deep burn pool?
Once the wax from your candle is liquefied and then relit, a deep burn pool of wax is a normal reaction because the wax has softened with each use. This is the normal nature of wax and does not minimise your candle’s burn time, or signify a lack of quality. Allow the wax to become solid before relighting.
How natural are your scents?
We use a mixture of essential and fragrance oils to bring a balance to fragrance strength and composition. Our fragrance oils are safety tested. Due to certain ingredients in the composition of some fragrance oils, we comply with safety labelling procedures (CLP). These ingredients are in quantities so small (less than 4%), nevertheless, we are list them for clarity.
What safety information is available?
We comply with a set of safety standards applicable at the international level, by labelling our candles with safety information and warnings. CLP (classification labelling and packaging). You will find warnings on the bottom of all candles and packaging.
How do I reuse the vessel?
To reuse your vessel, scoop out any excess wax and dispose of accordingly. Ideally clean out your vessel when it is slightly warm. Rinse your glass with hot water, then wash out your glass with warm water and a cleaning agent.
How do I prevent my candle emitting black smoke?
Please ensure you burn your candle away from draughts and regularly trim the wick to 5mm before lighting. If the wicks are too long or if the candle is burned near a draught, it may visibly smoke and this can stain the edges of your glass – please wipe your glass clean if it does.
We perform extensive burn tests as part of our quality control. Please follow our candle care instructions to ensure your candle burns optimally.
